Local Libraries are a Great FREE Resource

Have you visited your local library lately? If you have, you know that libraries are no longer the homes of musty old books. Libraries now have a huge collection of DVDs, computer software, audio books, CDs, and lots of wonderful books (minus the musty smell). You can check out new release DVDs and CDs free of charge. This could save your family a ton of money in rental fees.

Also, the library offers many electronic resources. My local library allows you to access many e-books and e-publications online, such as Consumer Reports with only your library card needed.

Libraries also offer FREE programming for both adults and children. From storytimes and book clubs to movie clubs, libraries are a lot of fun for the whole family.

Check out your local library or their website today to see all of the ways your family can save some precious pennies!
